October Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order: 5:35pm
Attending: Caden, Candace, Pat and Kristine
Guests: Judy Doyle, Emilia Kaminska and Art Kaehn
Motion to approve agenda: motion to approve agenda with amendment that we need to vote for reimbursement of oil change. Motion made by Candace and Seconded by Pat
Motion to approve previous minutes: Judy seconded by Kristine
Treasurer’s Report : Grand total of $ 96,589.82 ( $62,275.25 – Grants $ 34, 314.57 – remaining ). $ 4,987.46 was the profit from fall fair and it has been set aside for next year.

Old Business:
- Voted to pay 50% of submitted receipt for his oil change for 2024. Awaiting a receipt, then we will reimburse half.
- AGM October 8th. Positions up for renewal – Kristine, Kim Gibbs, Dan, Shannon. Secretary would also like to step out of the secretary position.
- Park proposal is being considered this month by the regional district board
New Business
- Halloween – $667 in the Halloween grant to spend from Enbridge. HCA will supply pizza and pop with a treat bag. HCA will join in with our part at the Firehall. Pizza by donation. Pop and chips left over from fall fair. Pat will do the shopping and then there will be a day for making goodie bags.
- Co-op grant – community support fund. Kristine has started applying for the grant through the Co-op. We are currently waiting for quotes to have the ceiling redone, air conditioning installed and new lights. Once we have all the quotes Kristine will submit the grant application. Grant application will be submitted by November 15th
- Soup group starts this month – On Wednesdays, starting October 23rd.
- Playgroup will start up over the winter months. Dates to be determined.
